Dec. 16, 1995, 34 years after Clayton completed the first PhD thesis in purely nuclear astrophysics at Caltech under Fowler's supervision. Clayton's invited talk at this symposium was "NUCLEAR GAMMA-RAY-LINE ASTRONOMY: EXPERIMENTS, OBSERVATIONS AND THEORY".
