Clemson University Wordmark

Mark Leising delivering his contributed paper "Prospects for X-ray Studies of Supernova Radioactivity" [BAAS 33,1475 (2002)] at the January AAS meeting in Washington. That work demonstrates the observability of supernova radioactivity by a new technique, K-shell X rays emitted following the decays. That paper has also been published in Astrophys. J Dec. 2001. Many earlier photos of Leising can be found on this site [especially "1986 Leising and Clayton" and "1991 Discovery of 57Co"].
