TigerOne and Health Information for New Students

Students are responsible for getting their TigerOne card (student ID) and for meeting the health clearance requirements outlined by Clemson University. We have provided information and other assistance that will help you complete these tasks. Those who do not follow the instructions and accept this assistance must complete the tasks on their own.

For more on the medical requirements, please visit http://www.clemson.edu/campus-life/campus-services/redfern/immunization.html
This page also has a link to the “Required Student Immunization Forms.” This paperwork was due on July 1, if you have not already submitted the paperwork, please do so immediately. The only exception to this is students who have not had any of the required immunizations. These students do not need to submit the form.

Please review the specific statements below and find the one that best matches your situation. Clicking on the link below the statement will take you to a web page that provides the instructions you need.

Students who are enrolling in a private insurance plan can still use Redfern’s immunization and TB testing services. These students will pay for the services at Redfern; depending on their insurance coverage and effective date, they may be eligible to be reimbursed for these expenses by their insurance carrier. It is up to the student to know the policies and address this with his/her carrier; university staff will not get involved in these matters.

If you do not have your own transportation, the department will provide shuttle service on August 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, and 14. Please sign up for the shuttle service using Google doc. https://docs.google.com/a/g.clemson.edu/document/d/1-O6A0hkr1QylAq_aWSEqTJdNxVVFcwBQu2-nLLcasGs/edit You must be at the Campbell Center (4 Research Drive, accessible via Greenlink) before the shuttle leaves at 8:45 a.m. The shuttle will not wait for late comers.

The pickup location from the Campbell Center (CU-ICAR) is noted on the image below. It is best to walk in the grass to get to the van. The driveways are very narrow and are not ideal for walkers and traffic.
