DISSERTATION
A guiding framework for developing design methods- Proposal Outline
Since the process of developing design methods/tools is identical to a product design process, it is intended to use the systematic product design methods currently available to develop design methods. Research is in progress to identify the similarities and differences between product design and design of design methods/tools. This understanding would facilitate in developing systematic methods that address and cater to peculiar characteristics of the process of developing design methods/tools.
