Women In Science and Engineering - Solar Spiders

Project WISE is a one-week residential camp for rising 8th grade girls sponsored by the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program at Clemson University. In the Electrical and Computer Engineering class this summer we built and analyzed a solar powered robot. Construction of the robot demonstrated topics from Electrical and Computer Engineering such as electric circuits, electric motors, light, batteries, robot motion, solar cells and energy conversion.. Each student built a robot that she took home with her at the end of the week.
