Girl Scouts Engineering Day "The Wii Experience" 2009

Overview

Each group of 10 students spent an hour leanring about position and acceleration sensing in the Wii Remote. Each group spent 20 minutes at each of the three stations.

At this station we experienced how the Wii Remote works in a game and built webpages to describe our experience.

Position Measurement

The lightbar uses Infrared LEDs that we could only see when we looked at them through a camera.

When the image of the camera on the Wii Remote changes, the computer detects motion.
