Technology Book Club

 

Purpose :

Provide an informal forum for discussing books that relate to engineering education, engineering research, and/or technology related business. All faculty and staff are welcome.

From Bob Colwell's "Books Every Engineer Should Read" (IEEE Computer Scociety

Donald E. Stokes’ book, "Pasteur’s Quadrant: Basic Science and Technological Innovation" (Brookings Institution Press, 1997), gives an enlightening historical perspective on how the scientific field views the various kinds of science and engineering, what happened to the Superconducting Supercollider, and who was Vannevar Bush.
