Before joining Clemson University as an associate professor in 1985, Dr. Poole was a member of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Natal University for 13 years, serving as a professor of microelectronics and electrical engineering. In 1982, he served as acting head of the department, and from 1981 to 1989, he was the Post Office Chair of Microelectronics.
Over the past twenty years, Dr. Poole has been responsible for developing and teaching courses in materials, physical electronics and integrated circuit design at Clemson.
