Faculty Overview
Dr. Elzerman’s major teaching and research interests are in environmental chemistry and environmental science and policy. He teaches courses in environmental chemistry, environmental science and introductory environmental engineering.

Research activities have focused on the sources, fate and analysis of chemicals in environmental systems. Recent research projects have included transport of radionuclides in aquifers and chemical tracers of human wastewater sources.
