Ms. Crockett advises new freshmen and transfer students who wish to become engineers.  She is also the initial contact person for prospective transfer students who wish to attend Clemson University to attain an engineering degree. 

Ms. Crockett has been an advisor in General Engineering since September of 1992.  Since that time she has been involved in developing campus-wide advising policies that benefit all Clemson students.  She has conducted advising workshops at national and regional conferences.  She believes that she has the best job in the world and really enjoys getting to know her advisees. 

She is married to Dave Crockett. (Yes, he is related.) She has eight cats.  She enjoys reading mysteries, and watching forensics shows.  In another life, she’d probably be an FBI profiler.  Ms. Crockett is a real foodie.  When traveling, she loves sampling the local food and trying to recreate it at home...although she can’t resist tweaking a recipe.  Give her a TV remote and she’ll select Food Network every time.
