Kimbler Elected IIE Fellow

Dr. D. L. Kimbler, P.E., professor of industrial engineering and former department chair, was elected to the rank of Fellow of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He is seen here receiving his award from IIE president Milligan at the IE Solutions Conference in May. Fellow is the highest membership rank in the Institute of Industrial Engineers, and is awarded for outstanding service to the institute and profession. Only a few senior members are selected for Fellow rank each year. Dr. Kimbler joins Dr. Michael S. Leonard and Dr. W. J. Kennedy, who had been previously elevated to Fellow rank.
