Winners Announced - Spring 2004 Research Poster Competition

The Spring 2004 Industrial Engineering Research Poster session featured fifteen posters from graduate and undergraduate students in different phases of research. Dr. Mary Beth Kurz, Dr. Michael S. Leonard and Dr. Byung Rae Cho reviewed the posters for presentation and quality of research.
First Place
Paris Stringfellow and Sajay Sadasivan were awarded First Place for their poster, based on their research work on "Virtual Reality as an Instructional Tool for Aircraft Maintenance Education."
Sandhya Kommidi received honorable mention for her poster, based on her research work on "Human Performance in Supervisory Inspection Task."

Madhumohan Govindaluri received honorable mention for his poster, based on doctoral research, titled "A Multicriteria Decision Support to Integrate the Customer and Designer Voices for Process Optimization."


Other participants were congratulated on the quality of their research and its presentation. The next department poster competition will be held in fall 2004.
