Who Should Attend?
Engineers and technically-oriented managers who have been assigned the responsibility to lead Six Sigma projects. Black Belts are responsible for facilitating, leading, and managing project teams to achieve and sustain significant bottom-line results.
Overview
Black Belts are highly trained Six Sigma experts who manage project teams and act as on-site implementers of Six Sigma projects. This three-week Six Sigma Black Belt course over a three month period is designed to teach the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate breakthrough improvements in key processes that support the overall goals of your company. This training program requires a project to work on during the class. Therefore, your company gets immediate payback from the project work and participants are ready to launch projects throughout your organization.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will:
- Be able to explain Six Sigma philosophies and principles and apply them in various business processes throughout your organization.
- Have a thorough understanding of and be able to use all aspects of DMAIC models in accordance with Six Sigma principles.
- Have a thorough understanding of the need for advanced problem solving and improvement methodologies used by project teams.
- Have a thorough understanding of special design tools and advanced Six Sigma methodologies.
Training Course Requirements
Laptop computers are used extensively throughout the three weeks of Black Belt training and are required for the course. Minimum laptop requirements are as follows:
