MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
(124-126 HR curriculum)
All courses that have been approved as technical requirements for Mechanical Engineering students are listed below. The Mechanical Engineering Curriculum requires that nine credits be taken from this list. Of this number, six credits must come from courses designated ME. The nine credits must contain at least two credits of engineering design. Substitution of courses not on this list is made only with the approval of the Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Department.

Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics:
Any 400 level mathematics, 300 or 400 level chemistry or physics courses, with approval of advisor.
*ME 415 (non honors) - 3 hours maximum for technical elective credit. It may be taken a second time for free elective.
