The Clemson University Nanomedicine Lab was started in 2009 under the direction of Dr. Frank Alexis. We are using nanotechnology for drug delivery and tissue engineering applications. One aspect is to synthesize novel biomaterials and another focus is on understanding fundamental interactions between nanoparticles and biological systems.
NSF-International Research Experience for Students has been funded to support under-represented undergraduate students' participation in the summer program in Singapore. Click HERE to learn more.
