Student Teaching

What is PEER?

Welcome to PEER! The PEER Office has been welcoming underrepresented students in the College of Engineering and Science (CES) for more than 20 years. Since we opened, our mentoring program for incoming undergraduates and our award-winning approach to student support have helped students carry out their plans for academic achievement and enrichment.

What's New?

Louis Stokes South Carolina Alliance for Minority Participation (LS-SCAMP) Annual Research Conference – Clemson Wins Big

In October, six PEER Students won big at the
  LS-SCAMP undergraduate research

University of South Carolina. The following
  students participated:

Three graduate students, Shiree Hughes (Computer Science), Caleb Eljach (Bioengineering), and France Jackson (Industrial Engineering) also participated in the conference by serving as members of the team of judges evaluating the competition.

We are very pleased to announce that first place prizes in their respective divisions were won by Freddy and Courtney (presenting jointly on their research with Santee Cooper); Bria Dawson (presenting on her research at Nanyang Institute in Singapore); and Devin Gordon (presenting on his research at Case Western University in Ohio).

Congratulations to all!
