For the past six years, “Science as Art” has challenged Clemson University students, faculty and staff to share the powerful and inspiring visual images produced in our laboratories, workspaces and learning environments. The results have been impressive, and have drawn the attention of scientists, artists, and members of the community. The winning entries were featured in Clemson World, and are on display in Brackett Hall, Rhodes Engineering Research Center and Holtzendorff Hall.
To view the entries for Science as Art 2012, there will be a "Meet the Artists" reception and exhibit on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the atrium of the Hendrix Student Center. Artists and judges will be present. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
Many thanks to the sponsors for this event: the Department of Engineering and Science Education, the College of Engineering and Science, the Office of the Vice President of Research, the desJardins/Blachman Fund, and Allen’s Creations.
