Mission

The Capital Planning and Financing Team supports the mission andvision of Clemson University and its related organizations by providingstrategies and recommendations for optimal capital structures in anever-changing global financial market. The Team supports theUniversity’s decision makers by ensuring the availability of financialcapital, including debt, to fulfill infrastructure plans and relatedobligations, while giving consideration to the University’s debtpolicy, cash management objectives and enterprise operationalstrategies.

Vision

The Capital Planning and Financing Team will be a trusted advisor tothe University’s executive leadership in all matters related to capitalplanning and financing. It will provide cost-effective strategies toensure efficient resource utilization in acquiring real capital,meeting infrastructure needs, and funding the University’s plan.
