Apple Punchout Changes

Apple has recently implemented additional security changes within their ecommerce/punchout site, which prevents their punchout site from working properly with the latest browser versions of IE, Safari, FireFox, and Google Chrome.  See the list below of the browser versions that have been affected by the new security changes. Older versions of these browsers are not affected by the new security settings implemented by Apple.  SciQuest is currently working on a fix that should be in place in Clemson buyWays on Friday May 21st.

After the fix is implemented, the Apple punchout will be opened in a new window. Users will be able to complete their shopping in the Apple punchout site and return the cart to buyWays. The additional window will close and the shopping cart will be displayed as usual. Please let us know if you have any issues with using the Apple punchout site.

Security Warning

Depending on the browser you are using, you may get a Security Warning pop up when you attempt to access various buyWays punchout suppliers. When this Security Warning pops up, select No and continue using the punchout. No other action is required. Selecting yes for this particular security warning will cause the punchout session to not work properly.  If you selected yes, cancel the punchout and try again, this time select no and continue shopping.
