Fall 2005
W. Eric Seymore (right) of Easley, an agricultural economics
graduate and second lieutenant in the S.C. National Guard, received
his Army Aviation Wings in a ceremony held at the Army Aviation Museum
at Fort Rucker, Ala., last May. He’ll fly Apache helicopters
with 1st/151st Aviation BN.
Pictured with him is his father, H. Eric, who graduated from Clemson
with a secondary education-history degree. He served in Vietnam and
has flown for the Army and the S.C. Army National Guard for more than
35 years. H. Eric’s other son, Andrew, will be the third Clemson
alumnus in the family when he graduates in December.
