Dont
Be Afraid to Ask for Help
Sometimes
its difficult for students to admit that they
are having trouble with a class. Pride,
embarrassment, or just the shock of realizing for the
first time in your school career that you are unable
to quickly master a topic can all contribute to this
situation.
Unfortunately, many students
wait too long before doing something constructive
about their difficulties in class. Should you find
yourself having problems, you must not be afraid to
ask for help as early in the semester as possible!
Colleges offer many resources that can improve your
academic performance. This study skills enhancement
program is one of them; by taking the time to work
through it, you are equipping yourself with some of
the tools necessary to be a better student. There are
also other ways that you can get help with classwork
or general study skills. Lets explore a few.
