clarke Name: Emily Clarke
Hometown: Bel Air, MD
Major: Political Science and Marketing
Class: 2017

Campus Involvement: Kappa Delta Sorority, Women’s Club Lacrosse, Dixon Global Policy Scholars, Chapman Scholars, iLead!, Alpha Lambda Delta, Atlas Shrugged Reading Group, Business 1010 TA

Bio: "As a double major and someone who is pretty involved on campus, I have lots of knowledge and tips to share about making the most out of your Clemson experience! I’m a sophomore that lives on campus so it will be easy for us to take trips to Y Beach or downtown to Spill the Beans. I respond to emails and texts very quickly, so feel free to contact me about any questions or concerns you have. I am a laid back, fun-loving person. I am up for any activities you are interested in doing, from playing sports on Bowman to just grabbing a quick coffee in Starbucks. I can’t wait to meet all of you!"

geary

Name: Eliza Geary
Hometown: Greenville, SC
Major: Psychology and Spanish
Class: 2017

Campus Involvement: Young Life Leader, FCA, Clemson Undergraduate Student Government, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Creative Inquiry

Bio: “Hey yall!  I’m a Psych and Spanish double major with hopes of one day becoming a bilingual counseling psychologist.  I love running (and I’m always looking for new running partners!), concerts, and traveling.  Being a freshman (especially at Clemson!) is the best, but I was overwhelmed with all of the different opportunities available to me during my first semester. If you pick me as your mentor, I will help you figure out what organizations are best for you to get involved with so you can thrive at Clemson.  My apartment is within walking distance from campus, and I would love to have you over to bake, have dinner, get some laundry done, or just get away from the chaos of campus.  If I’m your mentor, I want to help you with anything and everything – from deciding which Honors seminar to take next to figuring out how to get the best seats at the first home football game - as you settle in to your new home at Clemson.  I would love to treat you to ice cream, coffee, froyo, or whatever you’re in the mood for. I can’t wait to meet you, and I hope you’re having a wonderful summer! Get excited for the next few years at Clemson!!"

lauer

Name: Brenna Lauer
Hometown: Mount Pleasant, SC
Major: Accounting and Financial Management
Class: 2017

Campus Involvement: Delta Zeta Sorority, Dixon Fellows Program, SI Leader for ACCT 2010 (Fall 2014), Welcome Leader, Circle K International, TigerTies Mentoring Program, I-LEAD, and Clemson Club Volleyball

Bio: "Hey guys! I know starting college is a new and scary experience. Trust me, I’m an only child and understand leaving the nest. Clemson has the happiest college students I know and I want to make sure you’re one of them! As you can see, I love being involved on campus, whether it be tutoring, mentoring through the College of Business and Behavioral Science, Greek Life or Club Sports. I even have decided to dual degree! I would love to help you find your niche on campus.

When I finally have a break (usually scheduled) I love to go to Moe’s, Spill the Beans or have a great Netflix binge. I really enjoy going to our games and taking in the Clemson scenery playing Frisbee  on Bowman. Can’t wait to take you out to some of my favorite spots in Clemson and get to know y’all. Go Tigers!"

michele

Name: Michele Schuhriemen
Hometown: Sonoma, CA
Major: Management
Minor: Psychology
Class: 2016

Campus Involvement: Kappa Delta Sorority, Peer Mentoring Committee Head, Society of Human Resources Management, Aspire Facilitator, FCA servant leadership team, Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, Creative Inquiry, Study Abroad – Tanzania, Intramurals, Tutoring

Bio: “Hey everyone, my name is Michele Schuhriemen and I am a junior Human Resources Management major coming to Clemson from the west coast! One of my favorite things I am involved with on campus is this peer mentoring program, and I especially love guiding freshmen in pre-business through their first year and into selecting a major. My freshmen year I changed my mind several times about which major I wanted to do in the business school, so I am fairly knowledgeable about them all! When I am not participating in something for the many clubs I’m involved with, I like to just lay out on Bowman with friends and sisters, go to the campus beach, and workout at Fike. I can’t wait to meet you and help you have the best freshmen year possible!"
