Name: JennaMarie Baker
Hometown: Clover, SC
Major: Nursing
Class: 2018

Campus Involvement: Student Nursing Association (SNA,) WSBF-FM Clemson Radio DJ, Sailing Club, Calhoun Honors College, Clemson Outdoors, Women’s Leadership Conference

Bio: "Hey everyone and congrats on attending Clemson! I am a Nursing major planning to work as a travel nurse after graduation. It actually took me a couple of months to find my niche here at Clemson, but ever since I did I have had a blast. I’ve done so many things, from having a job to trying several organizations. I hope to help you find your way throughout Clemson, and I have a lot of fun activities in mind. I would love to take everyone out sailing, rollerskating, to dinner, and to a concert sometime. I love traveling, going to music festivals, writing, sailing, longboarding, and painting. My rule of thumb for when doing anything here at Clemson is that you have to enjoy what you are doing, and you have to enjoy the people you are around. I really want you to feel comfortable and have a family with our mentee group. I am very excited to see you have a great freshman year!"

Name: Courtney Conger
Hometown: Clover, SC
Major: Health Science
Class: 2018

Campus Involvement: Clemson University singers, TigerPaw Productions, Clemson University Gospel Choir, Dixon Fellows Program, Clemson 2015 Global Symposium participant, Foothills Church-Soul Talk

Bio: "Hi everybody! My name is Courtney Conger and I am a sophomore at Clemson University. As of now, my major is Health Science, but I am intending on switching my major to Nursing next fall. I guess I’ll tell you a little bit about where I come from! My hometown is Clover, SC and I grew up on a farm with animals ranging from dogs, to rabbits, to peacocks, to llamas. I am the middle child of five children, and my family is the most important part of me. I am extremely passionate about singing and I have gotten to keep that alive through being a part of CU singers and the gospel choir here, which has been a blast. I am also a member of TigerPaw Productions (TPP) here, which recruits bands and music artists to come play at Clemson, markets the show, organizes all the behind the scenes stuff, and works the shows to make sure all is running smoothly. This year I helped put together many of the shows including: NeedtoBreathe, Sister Hazel, Kevin Hart, and Lee Brice. I also recently have become involved in Foothills Church campus ministry here in the past few months and really hope to become more involved this fall. This fall I will also be a part of the Cultural Exchange Community, meaning that I will be living with some of the foreign exchange students that come here, which I’m super excited about! I also hope to travel abroad next summer for volunteer work. By being involved in all of these clubs and activities, I have discovered lots of useful resources around Clemson that I would love to share with each of my mentees if they ever need help with anything. I hope to take my mentees out for really anything y’all would want to do! I’m game for movie nights, hiking around the area, going out for ice cream, or making dinner at my place! Over the last year, I have fallen more and more in love with Clemson and I really hope that as a mentor I can help my mentees feel the same way by the end of their freshman year."

Name: Mary Elizabeth Grieshop
Hometown: Spartanburg, SC
Major: Early Childhood Education
Minor: Spanish
Class: 2016

Campus Involvement: Clemson Crew, South Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, America Reads Tutor, Creative Inquiry

Bio: "Welcome to Clemson! I have loved my past 3 years here and I am so excited to be your mentor for my senior year! I grew up in Missouri and moved to South Carolina for high school, which is how I became acquainted with Clemson. I love rowing, watching Netflix, hanging out with friends, traveling (I’m currently spending my summer in Spain!), and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and Clemson Tigers. I’m laid back and I would love to help you with whatever you need to make Clemson feel like your home. I’m hoping our group can get together every now and then for dinner or ice cream! Get excited for all the wonderful adventures ahead of you here at Clemson!"

Name: Rachel Osiason
Hometown: Tampa, FL
Major: Nursing
Class: 2017

Campus Involvement: Delta Zeta Sorority, Honors Mentor - Public Relations Chair, EUREKA! (2013 participant), Student Nurse Association, Outdoors Club, Undergraduate Research, Study Abroad Experience in South America

Bio: "Hey everyone! My name is Rachel and I am so excited to get to know y’all this upcoming school year!  Coming from out of state (all the way from Florida!), I know it is sometimes difficult getting acclimated to college life.  Clemson offers countless ways to get involved and I’d love to tell you about all of these different opportunities!  I have found my Clemson family through being a part of the Honors College and other activities and I want to help you find your niche, too! I’m a nursing major here at Clemson, so if you’re interested in the sciences I’m here to help with class schedules and registration.  In my free time, I love discovering perks of being in the Honors College (LOTS of free stuff!) and also enjoy doing anything involving the outdoors, whether it’s running to the dikes, hiking, or going to the lake.  Can’t wait to meet y’all and help you start off with an awesome freshman year at Clemson!"
