Tentative Costs for the Clemson LIFE™ Program

The ClemsonLIFE™ Program is dedicated to providing a structured, high-quality, well-supervised program focused on vocational and independent living success for young adults with disabilities .

The costs listed below are for spring 2010 semester. Fall 2010 costs have not yet been established and may be higher than listed.

The costs listed below are per semester for an in-state student. ClemsonLIFE™ does not add out-of-state costs, but tuition for the regular Clemson University classes taken will be higher.


Program Fees

$11,800 On campus


$10,800 off campus

Housing Costs*

On campus dorm fee is paid directly to Clemson University with semester bills.


Off campus costs are paid monthly by student. Cost is approximately $607 per month for 6 months to cover rent and utilities

off campus (3rd and 4th semesters)

Academic Costs** (variable)

Covers Clemson University costs for classes taken, meal plan, gym membership, etc.

Spending Money

Covers extra food, attendance at sporting or theater events, field trips, etc.

 *Off campus students will pay bills as a part of the Independent Living class and will need this amount of money in a bank account with checks.

 ** Out of state costs for three hours of class will be about $850 more, or about $2850 for Academic Costs. All other fees are the same.

 

These are tentative costs and are subject to change until all Clemson University details are addressed.
