Hello and Welcome to EMpower Clemson!
My name is Kathy Cauthen and I am the Director of EMpower Clemson, a new alcohol safety office opened under the Division of Student Affairs in the Fall of 2007. Did you know that the EM is capitalized on purpose?! This signifies that the Environmental Management of alcohol safety, or in other words, the bigger cultural changes that are our focus. This includes alternative programming, collaboration with campus safety efforts, new policies and even newer marketing efforts. Pretty soon these marketing efforts will be displayed as we encompass a "Clemson model" for alcohol safety!
Come visit us and become a part of a very student-centered effort for alcohol safety. We welcome the opportunity to sit down and chat about concerns and ideas for our campus and community.
