The Natural Resource Management Concentration will allow students to pursue professional positions that are oriented toward management of natural resources in both the private and public sectors. Both resource management and negotiation skills will be emphasized. The Conservation Biology Concentration is oriented toward students who desire a greater exposure to taxa, their habitats and their interrelationships and will position them for employment in a natural resource agency and/or continuing study in Graduate School. The Natural Resource and Economic Policy Concentration will receive more in-depth study in economics and policy applications that will enhance their opportunities in regulatory agencies.

All three concentrations share a common freshmen year. In the sophomore year, approximately 75% of courses are common. The junior year allows the greatest divergence with respect to the concentration and the senior year shows commonality again as students are together in capstone courses. Total number of hours varies form 124 to 132 depending on the concentration.
