The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious... the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science. -Albert Einstein
Sometimes, science and art meet in the middle. For example, when a visual representation of science or technology has an unexpected aesthetic appeal, it becomes a connection for scientist, artists and the general public.
In celebration of this connection, Clemson University and South Carolina high school students are being challenged to share powerful and inspiring visual images produced in laboratories and workspaces for the "Science as Art" exhibit.
