Certificate in Engineering and Science Education
The Certificate Program in Engineering and Science Education is directed toward graduate students in the College of Engineering and Science who seek classroom experience in preparation for an academic career in their discipline. The program requires 11 credit hours of coursework as follows: three credits from the Pedagogy Core (CES 820 or ED 955); three credits from the Professional Preparation Core (CES 875 or CES 888), three credits from the Research Methods Core (CES 871, EXST 802, ED F 808, ED F 878, PSYCH 811, PSYCH 833), and one credit each in seminar (CES 800) and a practicum (CES 861).
