Exhibit:

A "Meet the Artist" reception and exhibit will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the Advanced Materials Research Laboratory in Pendleton. Here are directions and map. Artists and judges will be present. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

All entries will be displayed in the lobby of the Cooper Library from the beginning of April through May 17, 2009.

Awards:

Winners will be recognized at the at the "Meet the Artist" reception, and will receive awards at the spring banquet for the Clemson chapter of Sigma Xi (The Scientific Research Society) on Thursday, April 16. Winners who are not present at the "Meet the Artist" reception will be notified via email after the judging takes place.

One first place award will be made in each of the above five categories for Clemson personnel and high school students. In addition, one "People's Choice Award" will be made based on input from Clemson students, faculty and staff. Winners will receive a $50 gift certificate, and tickets to the Sigma Xi banquet.
