Cherry Farm Laboratories and Apiary

The entomology research facilities at the Cherry Farm are located two miles south of campus on the shores of Lake Hartwell. The Cherry Farm complex includes two laboratory/office buildings that house faculty and graduate students, a self-contained urban entomology laboratory and insectary, rearing rooms, a butterfly house, an apiculture workshop, a well-equipped woodworking shop, an equipment shed, greenhouses, and an equipment storage building. Adjacent to the building complex is a 30-acre field research area and an apiary.
