Donald L. McCabeOver the last seventeen years, Dr. Donald McCabe has done extensive research on college cheating; surveying more than 150,000 students at more than 150 colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada. He has also surveyed more than 40,000 high school students in the United States during the last six years. His work has been published widely in business, education and sociology journals. He is founding president of the Center for Academic Integrity, a consortium of over 350 colleges and universities, based at Clemson University, who are joined in a united effort to promote academic integrity among college and university students.

McCabe has a B. A. in Chemistry from Princeton University (1966), an MBA in Marketing from Seton Hall University (1970), and a Ph.D. in Management from New York University (1985). He worked for over 20 years in the corporate world before joining Rutgers in 1988. His last corporate position was Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Devro, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company.

His work has appeared in leading journals such as Science and Engineering Ethics, Journal of College and University Law, Journal of Higher Education, Business Ethics Quarterly, Professional Ethics, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Management Education.

His work is often featured in the popular media, including 60 Minutes, NBC Nightly News, ABC Evening News, MSNBC, CNN, BBC Worldwide, All Things Considered, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and US News & World Report; among many others.
