4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. 2014-2015 Teen Council for South Carolina
Agriculture & Animals: Youth who are involved with agriculture and/or animals become life long winners and models of success due to the variety of skills they learn.
Healthy Lifestyles: Youth may choose to focus on one specific area of living a healthy lifestyle or they may incorporate a variety of the areas into one club.
Leadership & Citizenship:This program is designed to engage youth in changing a piece of the public world, help them discover the possibilities of a democratic citizenship, and build a commitment to taking action in new and exciting ways.
Personal Development: Personal development as a variety of opportunities available - arts & crafts, babysitting/child care, clothing & textiles, performing arts, photography and more.
Natural Resources: 4-H Clubs may choose to incorporate a variety of these projects into their club program, or they can elect to focus on one specific project. All of these projects work to provide youth with the knowledge and skills they need to be local stewards of our habitat.
Science, Engineering & Technology:A 4-H Club can be set up do do Science, Engineering & Technology - which may include aerospace, robotics, small engines or more.
