Home canning workshops

Clemson University Cooperative Extension is offering home canning workshops for first-timers and long-timers, teaching the basics and updated techniques. Horry County Extension is currently gauging interest in a similar workshop series to be offered in Conway.

*We must have 15 participants to hold the classes.

Workshop will be held at the Clemson Extension Office in the Johnny Shelley Agriculture Facility. Each workshop lasts approximately three hours. Specific timing dependent on class interest. Individual Workshops Feature Information on the Following:

• Workshop 1: Water Bath Canning
• Workshop 2: Pressure Canning
• Workshop 3: Jams and Jellies
• Workshop 4: Pickles
