The program will provide up-to-date, research-based, best management practices for home lawns. While the training is intended primarily for Master Gardeners, landscapers and the general public are encouraged to attend. Topics that will be covered include: lawn establishment; lawn care; insect, disease and weed identification and control; fire ant control; and mole & vole control. Handouts are included in the registration fee, and 4½ pesticide license recertification credits and 5½ Master Gardener continuing education credits are available at the completion of the program.
Location: The training will take place at Spartanburg Community College in the Tracy Gaines Auditorium on Thursday, March 25 from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
