Parents and children seem to have more struggles over vegetables than any other kind of food. To help toddlers and preschoolers like vegetables, offer them in the same matter-of-fact way that all other foods are offered.

Refer to HGIC 4250, More Broccoli, Please! for pointers on introducing and serving vegetables to young children. It also includes choking prevention tips and safe, age-appropriate ways to involve kids in food preparation.
