Guidelines for Commission Architects and Engineers (Green Book)

The following set of instructions and standards are intended for use by consulting engineers, architects, and other campus entities involved in new construction and renovation projects for Clemson University. These standards are intended to provide a level of consistency for future maintenance and repairs as well as a standard of quality for the various facilities and systems at Clemson University. Deviations from these standards by the A/E or other entity responsible for design MUST be brought to the attention of the Project Manager in writing at the beginning of the construction document design review process to afford the University the opportunity to reject or accept the deviation. The guidelines do not relieve the designer of any professional responsibility as their design relates to the applicable building codes and requirements. These documents are not intended to serve as technical specifications for any product or division.
