New Recycling Initiative at Clemson to Dramatically Change the University's Approach to Waste Disposal
Following a pilot program in Brackett and Sirrine halls, Clemson University has begun replacing traditional trash cans with paper-only recycling bins along with mini trash bins for other forms of waste. The move is a significant shift in Clemson's attitude toward recycling, with the emphasis on reducing the amount of recyclable paper lost to trash.
Full details can be found on the new Recycling Conversion page. We've also provided an FAQ to help address common questions and concerns.
