The Building Security Coordinator List is maintained by Clemson University Facilities in conjunction with the Clemson University Police Department. The list is used by the Police Department in situations where buildings are left unlocked or a crime has occurred. In these instances, the Security Coordinator would be contacted. This information is vital to the safety of everyone on campus.
University Facilities uses this list as well. All Key Request Forms must have an authorized Building Security Coordinator signature. This is necessary to maintain control of who has access to buildings, offices, and labs. Keys will not be issued unless proper signatures are obtained on the Key Request Form. The list is also used for notifications of utility outages. It's important that this list be updated on a regular basis due to its sensitive nature.
