Clemson University police charge man in theft of mail van
Clemson University police charged a Westminster man in connection with the theft of a mail van on campus in June.
Timothy Bryan Turner, 24, was charged Wednesday with grand larceny of an automobile. He was being held at the Oconee County Law Enforcement Center on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
Turner is not a university employee or student.
The van was stolen June 15 from Sikes Hall, a university administration building. It was found that night near Seneca after it had been set on fire. The van and its contents were a total loss.
