In general, a search must meet every criterion selected for there to be a
match.
To find someone who teaches Vocational/Technical Education (VT ED) courses
and does research in graduate education the faculty member (1) must be
assigned to teach a VT ED course for the selected term and
also have either (2) a sponsored program (funded research), or (3) a
research proposal that includes ‘graduate education ' in its project
title.

You may make a keyword
search without entering a keyword in the keyword text box. The following
graphic shows a check mark in the Faculy Summary checkbox. This will perform a
wild-card search of all faculty members who have a summary in the faculty book
database.

-
Whereas all other criteria limit a search, a keyword search on summary, funded
research and proposed research looks in all three data sources. The following
graphic shows a check mark in the Faculty Summary, Funded Research and Research
Proposals chekboxes. This will perform a wildcard search of all faculty members
(1) who have a summary in the faculty book database, or (2) who have a
sponsored program or (3) who have a research proposal.
-
The checkbox for the criteria must be selected to return results. If you enter
data into any search form field, the checkbox associated with that field will
automatically turn on using Internet Explorer or Netscape. With Opera, or other
browsers, one may need to select checkbox manually.
-
If you remove data from any field, or drop-down list, the checkbox associated
with that form field will automatically deselect.
-
If you deselect a checkbox, the form field will clear.
