Our Department...


The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Clemson University provides the only Food Science program in South Carolina.  Our faculty and staff posses a wide array of expertise in the Food Technology, Nutrition/Dietetic and Culinary areas.  We have approximately 120 undergraduate and 40 graduate student majors.  We are a growing program with an emphasis on engaging students with the best educational experience possible. We are recognized nationally for our top flight graduates and our students are responsible for the manufacture of the world famous Clemson Ice Cream.  Students from our programs are highly sought after and easily compete for the best jobs across the United States.
