- Extensive experience in Southern Pine Silviculture with emphasis on Longleaf Pine; prescribed fire; Best Management Practices with relation to stream water quality; GIS; Image processing; ArcObjects programs modeling natural resources and environmental regulations; timber sales; and forest inventory. More than 20 years experience using GIS and image processing to model and solve forestry and wildlife problems.
- Programming languages basic, visual basic, Arc Macro (AML), ArcObjects (VBA), Avenue, and python scripting for ArcGIS.
- Teaching experience in Pine Silviculture, GIS and remote sensing, Python scripting for ArcGIS 9.x and related forestry practices.
- Field experience in forestry practices as a technical forester or experimental forest manager.
