This includes determining how changing land use impacts the biotic integrity of streams and watersheds.

I serve as Director of SCDHEC Certified Water Resources Laboratories for testing of Fecal coliform and Macroinvertebrates.

Summary of granted research that I am presently directing:

  • Impact of Antimycin Application used for Stream Restoration on Non-target Species. USDA Forest Service, SCDNR 2005-2007.
  • Stream Restoration and Demonstration. SCDHEC through USEPA 2002-2006
  • Changing Land Use and the Environment. USDA NRCS 2002-2007
  • Clemson Riparian Corridor Evaluation and Master Plan. 2005-2006
  • Evaluation of BMPs for Fecal coliform in the 12-Mile Creek  watershed. 2004-2007,
  • Biological Assessment of Sediment Control Measures on I-585 Bypass, Charlotte, NC
