Research Areas

I am no longer conducting research, since my administrative duties have replaced my research appointment.  As Interim Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences, I support the activities and programs of the Dean’s office and college, with particular emphasis on support of the College’s student affairs and academic programs.  I also serve as the Coordinator for the B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resources program. This program is administered at the College level and involves faculty from at least three departments in the college.

Achievements

Established (cofounder) Piedmont-South Atlantic Coast Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit.  This Joint Venture Agreement with the Federal Government has enabled 22 projects totaling $1,076,565 to be brought to Clemson in 7 departments and 4 Colleges, Aug 30,2003.
