“Good leadership and community spirit can turn the
downside of disease and illness into classrooms of prevention.”
“Information has to be inspirational to those of us that are determined
to make life have some degree of quality.”
Strong community programming encompasses collaboration / networking, capacity
and coalition building, strategic planning, and community assessments. Our
programming efforts are long-term and comprehensive. We are committed to
train, educate, and provide emotional and physical support to people within
a community. We want to empower people with the tools (having used health
as a platform) to be forces within their own neighborhoods, communities,
and the state of South Carolina.
The old adage of strength in numbers applies when it comes to coalitions /
partnerships. An organized group of persons with a vision can be very effective.
With the proper training and resources, it has proven to work. Engaged communities
within society that are armed with a strategy and a common goal can move forward!
