Golfing for a Cure

Golfing for a Cure

8th Annual Charity Invitational
April 18, 2008
Cobb’s Glenn Country Club & Golf Course
Anderson, S.C.

The Golfing for a Cure tournament acts as a twofold event that serves as an educational fundraiser. Proceeds are used to inform and educate women and their families on the prevention of cancer and to promote the possibility of cure through early detection and diagnosis, through Tri-County Community Action Teams, a non-profit coalition under the auspice of Clemson Extension Service.

The community health initiative is targeted to impact the health of women across the state. It has provided monetary support for persons who otherwise would not have the opportunity to access or afford cancer screening services.
