Strengthening Families, Youth, and Communities: Putting Knowledge to WorkA Showcase of Programs and Curriculum |
Society has undergone dramatic social, demographic and economic changes in
this century that have deeply affected families, communities, and youth in
this country. Everyday there are new and emerging issues facing families, communities,
and youth. The focus of the “Strengthening Families, Youth, and Communities:
Putting Knowledge to Work” conference is to bring professionals together
from diverse disciplines who work with families, communities, and youth. Together,
we can assist in creating caring communities and expand the safety net for
families, communities, and youth through collaborative efforts.
During times of changes and transitions, families, communities, and youth need
proven strategies (best practices) for success that will improve their quality
of life. This conference will showcase programs of excellence that are working
across the country. So, come share your successes and hear the successes of
other professionals who are working at the national, state, regional and local
levels to strengthen families, communities, and youth. YOU do not want
