Clemson University Real Estate Foundation

The Clemson Real Estate Foundation, Inc., is an independent, non-profit, tax-exempt public charity incorporated in South Carolina under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is also an affiliate of the Clemson University Foundation, but has its own independent board of directors and president. The Clemson Real Estate Foundation, Inc., (CUREF) seeks to accomplish three goals for Clemson University:

  1. Advance the University through gifts of real estate and property.
  2. Serve as the efficient conduit through which gifts of real estate and property are received and liquidated.
  3. Assist and advise any college or department which includes a concentration in real estate as part of it academic offerings.

CUREF is the organization that owns the undeveloped “Neighborhoods” at CU-ICAR in Greenville, South Carolina.
