University Development Designations — Giving to Clemson

Make a significant contribution to Clemson through a major gift of $25,000 or more.

There are many ways you can support faculty through endowed chairs and professorships.

Our Major Giving Team is organized to support the greatest needs within our colleges and units. Restricted gifts may be designated for a particular unit of the University. The major units include the following:

Unrestricted gifts: Offering the flexibility to direct funding to Clemson's most urgent needs, unrestricted gifts are the best way to support students and faculty. These funds enable Clemson to meet critical demands as they arise and take advantage of unexpected opportunities.

Endowed chairs and professorships: To reach its full potential as a top-tier research institution, Clemson must recruit and retain eminent scholars, teachers and researchers, as well as continue the tradition of excellence established by current faculty. Endowed chairs and professorships are the key to attracting and retaining these promising faculty members for our students, academic programs and research initiatives.
