How We Recognize Donors
All donors are recognized on the Honor Roll, the University’s annual summary of private giving. Recognition societies honor and thank alumni, parents and friends who provide Clemson with a high level of support. Members enjoy a number of benefits, including invitations to member-only events and special University communications.
Annual Giving Clubs
Annual Giving Clubs recognize and thank those members of the Clemson Family who provide the University with annual support.
- Heritage Partners* ($25,000 plus)
- The Founders* ($10,000-$24,999)
- Leadership Circle* ($10,000 plus, unrestricted gifts only)
- Clemson Fellows* ($5,000-$9,999)
- Clemson Ambassadors* ($2,500-$4,999)
- President's Circle* ($1,000-$9,999, unrestricted gifts only)
- Presidents Club* ($1,000-$2,499)
- Silver Tiger ($500-$999)
- University Club ($250-$499)
- Century Club ($100-$249)
- Active Member ($1-$99)
*These annual gift clubs have been designated as Major Gift Clubs. All current members are honored at annual Major Gift Club events and are listed in the Major Gift Clubs membership roster.

Cumulative Gift Societies
Cumulative Gift Societies honor and thank those who have given generously throughout the years. Membership is based on a person’s total contributions over time. Every type of gift is counted, including annual, endowments, contributions, pledges and commitments to capital projects, etc.
- Centum II Society ($10 million plus)
- Trustee Oak Society ($5 million to $9.9 million)
- Thomas Green Clemson Society ($1 million to $4.9 million)
- John C. Calhoun Society ($500,000 to $999,999)
- Richard W. Simpson Society ($250,000 to $499,999)
- Benjamin Ryan Tillman Society ($100,000 to $249,999)

Legacy Societies
Clemson created the Legacy Societies as a way to remember and to thank alumni and friends who make provisions in their estate plan to support Clemson.
- Fort Hill Legacy — This society honors those who have provided $1 million or more to benefit Clemson upon their death.
- The Clemson Legacy — This society honors those who have included Clemson in their estate plans.
